Simplification is the concept that describes this composite, based on the chromatic and translucency matching of body and enamel masses.
Estelite Asteria allows for simplified layering of the composite in direct and indirect restorations, obtaining excellent aesthetic results with excellent workability.
Estelite Asteria contains 82% by weight and 71% by volume of filler consisting primarily of silica (SiO2) and zirconia (ZrO2). The Supra Nano Spherical filler has an average particle size of 200 nm.
Tokuyama, thanks to the Sol-Gel Method patent, is able to determine the shape and size of its SiO2 and ZrO2-based fillers (silica and zirconium oxide) in the laboratory, giving life to a truly spherical filler called Supra Nano Spherical Filler.
This is a compound made thanks to a chemical reaction of metal alkoxides. Thanks to this method, the Supra-Nano molecular dimensions give the material characteristics that allow to obtain restorations with very smooth surfaces and with maximum final brightness.
