Omnichroma Blocker Flow
Fluid when you apply it, strategic when it matters.
OMNICHROMA BLOCKER FLOW is a radiopaque, light-curable, low-viscosity flowable composite designed to function as an initial layer in cases where control of light and background truly makes a difference.
It was developed to integrate with OMNICHROMA and OMNICHROMA FLOW, especially when the restoration must coexist with mild discolorations, visually interfering substrates, or reduced residual structure.
Its role is not to replace the final composite, but to better prepare the base: it can be used as a thin layer, particularly on the lingual wall of extensive Class III and IV restorations, to limit unwanted chromatic influences and help you build a result that is more uniform, more readable, and more elegant.
It is also indicated for masking mild stains or discolorations and for supporting the reconstruction of teeth with higher apparent opacity.
From a clinical handling perspective, it adds an important advantage: flowability.
This allows for more targeted application, good adaptability to the cavity, precise dispensing, and easier spreading exactly in the areas where shielding is needed without adding unnecessary bulk.
Use it only where truly needed, as a targeted initial layer, without extending it unnecessarily.
Work in small increments to gradually increase the masking effect and better evaluate the result.
In more extensive anterior cases, applying it in the lingual area can help you build a more visually stable base.
If the underlying substrate is highly influential, gradually increase the masking effect rather than immediately adding excessive thickness.
Then complete with OMNICHROMA or OMNICHROMA FLOW to enhance the final blending with greater naturalness.
When the substrate is slightly discolored or too visible.
When you want to reduce the chromatic influence of the background or the oral cavity.
When dealing with extensive Class III or IV restorations.
When reconstructing a tooth with higher apparent opacity.
