Omnichroma Blocker
More opacity when needed, more esthetics when it matters.
OMNICHROMA BLOCKER is the complementary opaque composite designed to work in synergy with OMNICHROMA when the clinical case requires more precise control of light and substrate.
It is particularly indicated for extensive Class III and IV restorations, in cases with mild or severe discoloration, when the residual structure is limited, or when it is necessary to reconstruct a tooth with greater apparent opacity.
Used as a thin layer, often in the lingual area or as a targeted base, it helps block light transmission and neutralize anything that could interfere with the final result.
Its function is not to replace OMNICHROMA, but to prepare the foundation so that the final restoration appears more uniform, controlled, and elegant.
Use it only where it’s truly needed, in small increments and without excess.
In extended anterior cases, apply it as a lingual layer to create a more controlled base.
If the substrate is very dark, gradually increase the masking power and assess the result at each step.
Finish with OMNICHROMA and refine carefully to make the final transition as imperceptible as possible.
